your name and/or age? Niamh, 25

how old is/are your nursling/s? Just about 2 months (born Jan 20, 2010). Her name is Rhiannon, though we call her Rain for short. ;-)

any other kids? Yes, 3 year old son named Seamus.

new to fam/nfp? No. I used FAM for TTC Rain. I am new to it as a form of birth control though.

any signs of a cycle yet? Eh, sort of. I have patches of fertile quality CM, but have not ovulated yet. I think my body keeps TRYING to ovulate, but then doesn't because of the breastfeeding.

anything else? Here's my chart. :-)  We are exclusively breastfeeding (no formula) and on demand.  However, we do use a pacifier here and there.

Nice to meet everyone! :-D

I've looked over your chart, and if your body is trying to ovulate, it's doing it about 3 times in a cycle. also, the period you have logged could very well still be lochia at this point (I had it for like 10 weeks after one of my kids!) I think at this point it might be more rational to log details on a paper chart... the tcoyf software is going to try to make more sense of it than might be occuring right now...

Yes, I know it was lochia. ;-) I didn't actually HAVE a period, I just marked the day I gave birth as the a "period" so that it would start a new chart, lol. After that, I only marked spotting.

I log a paper chart as well. ;-)

It seems like my CM is starting to even out. It was very erratic. I've consistently had "Creamy" quality CM for a while now though. So it's starting to become a lot less erratic. :-)

It is funny though watching TCOYF's program getting confused by my chart, haha. I'm not spotting anymore, but when I was, after a while the program told me to go see the doctor, lol. I wish there was an option I could add to let the program know that I just gave birth and that I'm breastfeeding. :-P
